- Design and architect a Video over IP network in a secure, enterprise service provider level environment.
- Oversee video teleconference networks and audio visual and VTC support for end-users.
- Utilize experiences and skills for network, security, and video engineering to provide subject matter expertise input and feedback to government customers.
- Document system designs, network design, test plans, CONOPs, procedures, SOPs, and TTPs for new projects.
- Coordinate with clients to support project implementation and planning.
- Test and evaluate latest video technology and video/audio conferencing technologies in lab environment.
- Operate and maintain audio visual and VTC systems and equipment.
- VTC configuration management and asset maintenance and management.
- Provide VTC services to include operations, applications, training and administration.
Other Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Development of plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems in order to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.
- VTC troubleshooting and scheduling.
- Call setups and reconfigurations to ensure connectivity and integration of VTC equipment.
- Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
Additional Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required. Post-secondary education preferred. Qualified applicants should posess a minimum of three years of video equipment installing, programming, testing, troubleshooting and working with leading VTC endpoints and infrastructure. Level tier placements are based upon a combination of years of experience, education and certifications.
- DoD or Intelligence community agency support experience preferred.
- Job-related Industry certification (i.e. Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, etc) is a plus.
- Experience with VTC multi control unit bridge is a plus.
- Familiar with ISDN, IP and several VTC capabilities and other transport methods.
- Perform testing, implementing and support to ensure VTC equipment meets or outperforms client requirements.
- Familiar with video/audio standards and protocols.
- Travel is anticipated to be 20% of the successful employee’s work schedule.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must possess at least a Top Secret Clearance
