- Responsible for Oracle database migrations, upgrades, builds, performance tuning, cloning, backup, and capacity planning.
- Independent thinker, Works with minimal guidance from leads.
- Communicates with and influences director level management.
- Identifies opportunities, designs solutions, and implements them to automate day to day tasks.
- Works well in cross technology team environment.
Required Skills (Must Have):
- 5 years experience as Oracle DBA
- Upgrade databases to Oracle 11g
- Migration across platforms (preferably from HP to AIX)
- Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
- Duplicate databases from prod to non-prod
- Data Guard Backup using RMAN

- Oracle Golden Gate concept
- Unix shell scripting
