Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicates requirements, deadlines and expectations to the proposal team.
  • Maintains the proposal boilerplate, creates content, produces computer-generated graphics, and edits text produced by other members of the proposal team.
  • Checks drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and formatting.
  • Produces high-quality documents and ensures completed proposals meet the bid specifications.
  • Writes about complex, technical concepts in easy-to-understand ways and conveys ideas graphically.

Job Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in English, Communications or Journalism; 5-7 years of related experience including federal proposal writing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires good working knowledge of Government solicitations, the ability to analyze and interpret government regulations, general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures, and the ability to write about complex, technical concepts in easy-to-understand ways and convey ideas graphically.
